The Linda and Douglas Foundation will award financial aid to a Shortwood Teachers' College student-athlete who demonstrates outstanding character both on and off the field. Faculty members will nominate eligible students highlighting qualities including leadership, service, and resilience. The Growth and Enlightenment Award
The Linda and Douglas Foundation will award an honorarium to a Shortwood Teachers’ College educator who demonstrates exceptional character in and beyond the classroom. Students will nominate teachers highlighting qualities including leadership, service, and resilience. Support teachers who embody leadership, resilience & service—your gift honors Shortwood educators.
Awards selection
Recipients will be nominated by the Shortwood community, screened by Shortwood Teachers’ College Outreach Officers, then conferred by the Linda and Douglas Foundation Governing Board.
